We were recording the other day in a church santuary with a really great sounding Grand Piano. We got all set up and started recording and the wind started kicking up outside. Well the roof started creaking and cracking so bad it made recording in the santuary impossible. So we went on a search for a more quiet, recorder friendly room in the church.
We ended up in a little nursery in the middle of the church and the sound was fantastic! We recorded some acoustic peices in there and they came out great! Maybe it was the sweet spirit that the children had deposited in that room. You never know where your gonna find the sweet spot sometimes!
